Connecting Developers

As part of Vercel’s global build week, I hosted the Delhi chapter of the "Zero to Agent" hackathon in partnership with The AI Collective. We gathered 50 developers for a high-energy, fast-paced sprint focused on building and deploying live AI solutions in just a few hours.

The goal was to push the boundaries of what's possible with Vercel's latest stack, specifically using v0 for lightning-fast UI generation and integrating Model Context Protocol (MCP) to build truly functional AI agents.

What went down:

Pure Shipping, Zero Fluff: I ran the session as a focused, hands-on build sprint. Developers got straight to work using v0 credits, moving from a blank page to a working, deployed AI agent during the event.

Getting Deep into the Stack: It was incredible to see how the developers leveraged v0 and MCP integrations. They weren't just building simple chat boxes—they were wiring up agents that could actually interact with external data sources and tools in real-time.

Global Stakes, Local Talent: I guided the teams through the process of building, tweaking, and successfully deploying their projects with live URLs, getting all 50 builders submitted into Vercel’s massive global showcase and prize pool.

The energy in the room was awesome. It really showed how fast the barrier to entry for building complex AI apps is dropping when you give talented developers the right tools and a hard deadline.
