AI Salon: Working Theories

RoleHost
Attendees30+

A private salon at Masters' Union with Boundless Ventures, The AI Collective, and 30+ founders and researchers — focused on one question: how much have our AI assumptions changed in the last 12 months?

Instead of debating what AI already automates well, we spent the afternoon on the hard parts that still need people: judgment, taste, and the links in the chain that don't bend easily to models.

How it went down

Pods, not panels. Small groups dug into how workflows actually changed — what got 10x faster, what surprised people, and what still scares them — then brought insights back to the full room.

Working theories, shared out loud. Conversations ranged from shipping speed vs. real product progress, to which skills became more valuable, to where founder and research instincts diverge.

Challenge clinic. People brought stuck problems; the room worked them through together.
