BITS Pilani
M.Tech in Software Systems (WILP)
Distant / WILP
So yeah, I'm currently back in the student life with an M.Tech from BITS Pilani through their WILP program. It’s a bit of a juggle with my work at EY, but honestly, it’s pretty great. I get to pick up these heavy academic concepts during the week and immediately see how they actually play out (or don't!) in real production systems.
Right now, my whole world revolves around machine learning and distributed data systems. I'm deep-diving into the math that makes models tick and learning how to build the kind of infrastructure that can handle massive data without breaking a sweat. It’s less about just "writing code" and more about understanding the soul of software systems.
I love that this isn't just theory for the sake of theory. It's helping me bridge that weird gap between a research paper and a high-scale implementation that actually works in the real world.
